Procedure to Find the Serial Number of a Public Device (Previously L0) on a Windows PC
Pre-requisites
- Ensure that the MSO Device Driver is installed on your Windows PC.
STEPS
- 1. Connect the Device
- Ensure the Device driver is already installed.
- Plug the L0 device into a USB port of the Windows PC.
- Ensure the device is properly detected.
- 2. Open Device Manager
- Press Win + R, type devmgmt.msc, and press Enter.

- This will open the Device Manager window.
- 3. Locate the Device
- In the Device Manager, expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers or Ports (depending on the driver installation).
- Find your L0 device in the list. (e.g. “MorphoSmart CBM” or “MorphoSmart MSO1300 E3”)

- 4. Open Device Properties
- Right-click on the device name “MorphoSmart CBM” or “MorphoSmart MSO1300 E3” Properties.
- Clink on Properties.

- 5. Check Details Tab
- In the Properties window, go to the Details tab.
- From the Property drop-down, select Device Instance Path.

- 6. Extract Serial Number
- The complete device serial number (P/N-S/N) will be shown.
- Example: USB\VID_079B&PID_0047\293664661-1710I528677
→ Here, the highlighted part 293664661-1710I528677 is the complete desktop serial number of a connected device.
Note:
- To find the Serial number of a L1 Device follow the above steps in same way.
If Device Serial Number is not readable from the back side of MSO Device, please follow these steps

Download and Install RD service utility for Windows and Android
Plugin MSO 1300 device to available Standard USB/ Micro USB slot
Run RD service utility to fetch the Device Serial Number & Device Model
